A portable DVD player, also known as PDP is one of the new age gadget that is successfully running in the electronic world. This name is for those machines that are designed primarily to play DVDs.

Now a days’ we often hear the term “Smartphone”. So what is this smart phone? And how is a Smartphone different from a cell phone? A Smartphone is a high-end mobile phone which is  a combination of the functions of a personal digital assistant (PDA) and a mobile phone. A Smartphone is a device by which we can make telephone calls, and it also has  some features that could have been found only in a PDA or in a computer that offer facilities like sending and receiving e-mail and edit Office documents.

PDAs then bestowed cellular phone features, while cell phones added more PDA-like features. Thus the Smartphone was created.

The first Smartphone was the IBM Simon; designed in 1992, launched in 1993 and sold by BellSouth. In 1997 the term ‘Smartphone’ was used for the first time when Ericsson unveiled the concept phone GS88, the first device with ‘Smartphone’ label. So what is the definition of a Smartphone?
